ABOUT mindy
I’m a new New Yorker with a 10,000% daily step count increase and an insatiable appetite for novelty.
I recently took my office door off of its hinges and made it into a desk. It’s a large, welcoming perch to make art and take up space.
One of the first errands I ran was to get a library card. I checked out some cookbooks and have been putting my 8 square foot kitchen to use.
Without the residue of my 20’s and 30’s washing over the city, New York is giving me carte blanche to reinvent myself as a welcome resident of the fourth floor.
This reinvention is, in part, a return. The artist, reader, and kitchen mouse I haven’t given much time and attention to in the last 20 years is back.
